Caught Up
Caught up in the space
Between genius and insanity
Trying to figure out if its
Really Gods plan for me My mind dancing on the outer edge Of what is normal and what is not Not knowing where it all began And where its going to stop The thoughts holding my mind In a hypothetical captivity Placing my soul in motion Towards an isolated infinity But I desperately want to embrace The deepest part of me And let you see The deepest part of me. Who defined normal and how Did they arrive At a definition that only Few will ever comprise See I must keep my mind clear Of all the trash of this life And yet operate within the Limits set but man When I know my natural instinct Is so much better than What can be contrived By any man But I spend my time working Within the rules Going in circles The same lessons The same mistakes The more I try to fit in The more my spirit brakes I can’t and I won’t fake No I can’t and I won’t fake
