The month of August was a powerful and memorable one for me. How about you? As an Olympics fan, I was crazily engaged in the Opening Ceremonies all the way to the closing ceremonies. And all between... did anyone else get chills when men and women's 400 relays? or what about the marathon during the final lap inside of the Bird's Nest?
And most memorable.... Barack Obama. What can we say? I would have never thought that I would see this happen... and I am in my 30s... That is a tremendous representative for us all. To see such a nuclear Black family represent us all as the First Black Family in the White House totally depicts the whole reason we continuously sweat to provide the Black Atlanta medium to you.... to represent all that is good in the lifestyles of Black Atlanta.
