Atlanta,
GA September 12, 2004 - The LC3 Media Group, LLC is
proud to announce a major virtual expansion and development
project, in coordination with cyber space property owner
Rob Ten-Tronck. Ten-Tronck is the president and publisher
of Axiom Information Resources, Inc. a publishing company
located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. His company has published
reference directories and guide books for over twenty years.
The expansion,
will utilize LC3 Media Group's successful model and strategies
of its property BlackAtlanta.com to franchise out to over
30 cities nationwide. Major cities of interest include New
York City, Detroit, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Charlotte,
St. Louis, San Francisco, Birmingham and more! The expansion
project will allow positive messages of Black Community,
Business, Education, Faith, and Living to be spread to the
nation!
The sites
will serve the purpose of providing readily identifiable
icons in the Metropolitan Communities by being very comprehensive
resources for African American business, family and living
information, news, education and more. Features of the sites
will include a highly circulated e-newsletter, multiple
tiers of advertising, a business directory, faith and belief
listings, personals listings, event calendars, current newsfeeds,
classifieds, and forums.
BlackAtlanta.com
was first launched in January, 2003 and can be reached by
browsing to www.BlackAtlanta.com. The site traffic has more
than exceeded site projections, and expects to experience
steady growth in the upcoming months.
Even in the
site's infancy, it has very humbly done advertising or has
created partnerships with companies such as Comcast, TV-One,
Full Gospel Baptist, Warner Brothers/Reprise Records, Akademiks
clothing line, Kenny Anderson Foundation, Joi Studios(Jagged
Edge's recording studio), as well as a plethora of local
proprietors who take advantage of the site's free business
directory listings. Recently, the site was even awarded
a 2003-2004 Golden Web Award.
While business and finances are important, the sites also
will have a deep respect for family and living. "We
want to grow our business. However, community involvement
is very important to us. We would love to know about your
family reunions, your weddings and births, and your honor
roll students. Too many times, our national and local media
focus in on the negative, which leaves BlackAtlanta.com
a wide open door to promote the positivity that exists in
the Atlanta African American community," says Brandon
Johnson of LC3 Media Group, LLC.
Lastly, with the scope of the site's coverage, the sites
hope to decrease the digital divide, while increasing our
community confidence in internet based commerce. According
to Internet surveys, African Americans represent the largest
online segment of U.S. minority populations. The uphill
battle lies in getting our community's trust in online entrepreneurship
and increasing mainstream advertising on African American
targeted web sites. Johnson readily replies, "
we
are more than ready for this challenge!"
